Background & Identification
The Nintendo Wii U Pro Controller, model number WUP-005, was released in 2012 and is bundled with the Wii U gaming console as well as sold separately. It is sold in white and black. It is a fairly new device in the gaming world but has proven to be a widely popular controller nevertheless. The design of this controller was based on attracting 'hardcore' gamers with a more traditional design compared to the primary single-handed rectangular controller. The Wii U Pro controller is compatible with the current Wii U, generation 7, but not compatible with earlier generation Wii games or with the original Wii. It has two analog sticks, a digital d-pad, 10 digital face buttons, and four digital shoulder buttons.

Controller Won't Vibrate
While engaged in gameplay, my Wii U Pro Controller does not vibrate.
Vibration Function Not Enabled
Make sure your vibrations setting is enabled. This can be done in the settings of the game you are playing.
Low Battery
If your battery is low, the controller may not vibrate in order to save battery life. Charge your controller.
Vibration Motor is Defective
